Producing restaurant-quality rice at home is made easy with this 5.5-cup (enough to feed 1-5 people) Zojirushi NS-TSQ10 micom fuzzy logic electric rice cooker and warmer. This is a medium capacity cooker with an attractive, unique design of a durable clear-coated stainless steel and dark brown/black exterior. It will cook rice for 1 person just as well as rice for 5 people!
The NS-TSQ10 features an additional setting of a steaming and cake baking function. This cooker is designed to be used on 220-240V, 50Hz power and is supplied with both EU and UK power cord and plugs. This Zojirushi model is made in China.
The NS-TSQ10 has multi-menu selections which uses Micom (micro-computerised) Fuzzy logic technology to control the temperature for the efficient cooking of many different types of rice including white, sushi, porridge and brown rice. There is also a quick cooking feature on this model. The micro computer chip inside the NS-TSQ10 automatically makes adjustments to temperature and heating time – it ensures perfect rice every time. This is what we call the ‘yum factor’.
The Zojirushi NS-TSQ10 has an automatic keep-warm function. There is a countdown feature during the cooking cycle and when the rice is cooked a tune is played and the cooker automatically shifts to keep warm mode. For added convenience, the NS-TSQ10 has a low light LCD display with clock and timer function (for up to 13 hours in advance), a 1.5mm Sumiflon/Teflon coated inner bowl and a convenient detachable inner lid for easy cleaning.

Zojirushi rice cookers have lithium batteries that are used only for retaining timer and cooking memory for if there is a power interruption. The batteries have an estimated lifespan of around 5-10 years depending on use.
These batteries are not essential to the operation of the rice cookers but can be replaced only at authorised Zojirushi service centres if you feel you need to have it replaced. After warranty you would need to contact one of these centres if you wish the battery to be replaced.Â
We have no plans at all to sell Zojirushi Induction Heating models because the Zojirushi IH models for 220-240V power haven’t passed any CE safety tests for use in the UK or Europe so they therefore cannot be legally supplied within the UK or Europe, so this is why we do not supply them. Not only is there a voltage difference but there is a difference in the frequency of electricity used. The Zojirushi IH models are also very, very expensive to purchase (around £150-200 more than our conventional rice cooker models).
We do have our own branded Induction Heating rice cookers, Fuji YUM-IH07 and Bamboo YUM-IH15/2/B. These are the first IH rice cooker to be made for the UK and Europe. It has many unique rice cooking features which Yum Asia developed using our rice cooker/cooking expertise.

Yes, we supply spare parts for Zojirushi rice cookers for customers who bought their rice cooker from Yum Asia.Â
These spare parts need to be ordered in advance and can take approximately 8-12 weeks (minimum lead time) to come in stock.

I have wanted a Zojirushi for a long time, but it put me off because I thought it was essentially a one function appliance. I was really happy when I found out they had one with a steam option, this was the push I needed to buy. I have owned other rice cookers and this completely blows them away – no more crunchy rice on the bottom of the bowl! I have so far used my TSQ10 for brown rice, sushi rice and plain basmati rice and it tastes so different to rice cooked in the other cookers I have owned. It is soooo tasty! I have also experimented with steaming veg which turned out really tasty as well. Next on my list to try is the cheesecake and sushi and I really must use the timer to have my porridge ready for me in the morning.

I ordered over the weekend and it arrived on Tuesday. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet but the service so far has been exemplary – the fastest customer service I have ever experienced from an retailer and great advice on the right model for me. I have recently started making bentos for lunch and really wanted a rice cooker with a delayed timer function so this model is perfect as it can steam at the same time. Very much looking forward to making coconut rice and takikomi gohan!

Yes, it really is all that and more. Expensive you might think for a rice cooker, but add up all the times you go out for Japanese in search of lovely food. And then think of what you’ve been putting up with using that $59 tin can from the local dept store. No comparison! The Zojirushi makes perfect fluffy rice, the first time out. As for YUM ASIA, that has to be the fastest service ever from the UK to Australia. I ordered the thing last week, had barely enough time to dream about its arrival, then the knock came on the door. Nice one guys! Thank you for the quick service, and the Zojirushi is FANTASTIC.

This is the second rice cooker I bought from Yum Asia in a year. The first was a NSTGQ10 for my parents in the UK and this one is my treat. I work in Paris and it’s a delight to get home and have the rice hot and already waiting for me thanks to the great timer feature. I bought on Monday and my TSQ10 was with me on Wednesday. I immediately tried brown rice and it turned out fantastic. It was full of flavour and the exact right texture; I then couldn’t wait to try other types of rice, so far I have tried white basmati and thai jasmine and both have been excellent. The one thing I can’t believe is the difference in taste to stove top cooked boiled rice – it’s so different and much, much tastier! 5 stars to the ‘rolls royce’ of rice cookers…well worth the money.

I have to say when I first stumbled upon this website I was a little sceptical to spend £200 from fear of a scam but after reading the reviews I took the chance and 2 days later it arrived. The box was a little squished which is to be expected from some couriers but the contents where undamaged (as far as I can tell).
I am no stranger when making Japanese food and using a Japanese rice cooker having lived in Japan. For a beginner the instructions tell you everything from setting it up, where parts go, how to cook your rice, how to use the different functions. It even tells you how to make cheese cake and how to look after it.
After using the rice cooker for the first time yesterday I have to say it is fantastic best £200 I have spent. Its easy to use with lots of extras and is simple and easy to clean. Would recommend this website to anyone that wants a proper rice cooker.

I now have my rice cooker and I love it! It cooks 1 cup of rice perfectly but still has the capacity to cook more for a bigger group. The plug I got isn’t right for our sockets [in Australia] but that’s no problem, I just wish I’d known before hand that I would need to get a converter thing. All in all I’m happy with my cooker and now I can make sushi again!

The measuring cup arrived broken, Yum Asia replaced it with a new one at no additional fees, again excellent service!!
The rice cooker itself is a great appliance, the rice it makes is fluffy with a great flavour. The timer, steam, keep warm and cake features are great. I’ll definitely recommend Yum Asia to anyone who’s willing to make perfect rice everytime.
