Fuji is our second UMAI Induction Heating (IH) rice cooker for the UK and Europe and unique and special rice cooking functions that are sure to please any rice lover. Our efforts to put IH into a smaller capacity rice cooker that retains it's minimal looks was quite the task. We took leading Japanese rice cooking technologies, learned exactly how they worked, chose their best and most useful features and built them into Fuji so it produces professional, restaurant quality rice – every time!

We don't design our premium rice cookers to just cook rice perfectly, we also design them to look stylish and modern in your kitchen. For Fuji, we chose this contemporary matte white exterior accented by a stylish wood effect control panel. This is complemented by our ice white ‘hidden under’ LED display and advanced Korean Motouch/push button hybrid control panel; not only for reasons of hygiene but to keep fingerprints to a minimum and give an easy clean exterior appearance.

Fuji has a stainless steel inner lid for the more health conscious. It includes our signature SHINSEI handmade ceramic inner bowl that is carefully made over a process that takes several month. SHINSEI has rice measurement level lines are silk printed for ease of reading and durability. Fuji itself is easy to clean with removable parts. We don’t believe a rice cooker can get any more healthy than this?

The Mountain Of Rice Cookers
You name the rice, Fuji can cook it perfectly. Basmati, Hom Mali jasmine rice , brown rice, short grain (sushi) – using it’s UMAI smart brain it can cook these grains not just good but how they should be cooked. By using multiple fine adjusted heating phases that our engineers at Yum Asia have calibrated, Fuji tailors each cooking function to the grain and optimises everything so what you get at the end of the cook cycle are perfect grains cooked how they should be. Nach Wochen und täglich reis gekocht bin sehr zufrieden , Gabareis Super lecker, Basmati gut, Nishiki und Komachi reis super lecker , für Porridge nur mit Kernige flocken es funktioniert, Gemüse dampfen prima und fisch auch . Innentopf: sehr gut Qualität wie man es erwartet aus Japan sein ist dazu es ist nickelfrei, bin sehr glücklich damit , Reinigung, nur per Hand waschen sehr einfach , Zojirushi Technologie made in China für Europäer es kann nicht schief gehen beiden sind Reis Länder, wer noch keine Rundreis ( klebereis, Sushi reis, etc…) liebt wird sein Meinung Ändern . Es ist wirklich einfach damit Reis zu kochen und lecker dazu.

My first Fuji rice cooker was not working right away from the start, which was super disappointing and frustrating. However, the service here is wonderful and very supportive. After sending the broken Fuji back, I received a new one, and this one is working. I am so happy I gave it a second chance! I do love the rice it cooks. I am still learning all the ways, but the GABA rice did surprise me a lot. I’ve never ever tried a rice like this before! Yes, it is so worth it to wait for three hours while it does all the magic, you can set up the timer automatically for any time.

Der alte “Reishunger” Kocher hatte den Geist aufgegeben, es wurde Zeit für einen neuen Kocher. Die Frage war: Nochmal den gleichen Kocher – denn so schlecht war er nicht – kaufen oder gebe ich das 5-fache aus und kaufe diesen? Ich habe mich dann für den Kauf dieses Reiskochers entschieden und es nicht bereut. Es gibt kein Ankleben am Boden mehr und der Reis ist auch beim Warmhalten (je nach Sorte versteht sich) schön locker. Aus diesem Kocher mag ich sogar Naturreis, den fand ich beim alten Gerät immer muffig und wenig ansprechend. Etwas Geduld muß man mitbringen! Der alte “Reishunger” Kocher brauchte für Basmati etwas über 20 Minuten. Dieser hier braucht 40, aber dafür schmeckt der Reis besser und ist wie gesagt am Boden nicht verklebt. Auf der GABA Stufe kocht Naturreis über 2 Stunden, aber das Ergebnis ist wirklich gut.
