3 Second Rapid Hot Water Dispense
Oyu is an Instant Hot Water Dispenser. It has unique technology that allows you to enjoy water at a wide range of temperatures with a 3 second rapid heat system to ensure your cup is filled fast. Temperature ranges from ambient (minimum temperature of 4°C) up to a maximum temperature of 99°C You can adjust the dispensing water temperature by 5°C intervals which means you can set your water temperature to whatever is the ideal temperature for your beverage. The amount of water dispensed can also be set up to 500ml using it's high flow mechanism

What Makes Oyu Special?
The main disadvantage to ‘traditional’ electric water heaters is that they use a lot of energy keeping a tank full of water at the correct temperature for use, usually having to reboil at intervals to get the water to the temperature you want. The alternative are traditional kettles which are very inefficient due to having to boil more water than required and a lot of the heat from the boiling water being lost due to inadequate/non-existent insulation on the kettle.
Yum Asia selected the best Japanese water heater technologies and improved on them. Nice instant dispenser. Just what I was looking for. Not many have a big enough water resevoir where as the Oyu is 4 litres. Enough for my family of 3 to last throughout the day without needing to refill every 4 cups disepnsed. Smelled a bit of new plastic at first but this went away after 3 days of use. It’s easy to clean too and sits well with my other kitchen equiment.

Pros
The water begins despensing within 5 seconds its the pouring that takes the time
The water tank lid comes off completely and you can see the 4 litre mark from the front of the device so you can fill without turning the device around
Variable temperature from ambient ( cold water ) to 99 degrees in 5 degree increments for coffee and different teas
Variable volume from 150ml to 500ml in 50ml increments for drinks, gravy and hot water for sauce pans
I fill the device with filtered water and now use it to dispense the correct volume of water into a jug for our bean to cup coffee machine 2 x 350ml of cold water no more measuring water for our coffee machine
Memory setting for favourite temperature and volume once set press unlock then press despense thats it
Cons
It takes just under a minute to despense 350ml of 99 degree water into a cup so 2 cups 2 minutes this is ten seconds quicker than our kettle but you dont have to measure the water into the kettle everytime you want to make a cuppa and obviously lower volumes will be quicker
I think the advantages of this device outweigh the dis-advantages so i would highly recommend this device especially for dissabled people, i would top up the device every night instead of waiting for it to empty

Wonderful machine. This is my second instant water machine, and it is excellent. Clean design, intuitive controls and very fast heating to the correct temperature. Time will tell as to its reliability. The initial ‘newness’ taste soon goes. The large capacity tank is a real bonus. The machine is very well designed and made.
