Rice cooker arrived speedily, have cooked 3 times now – twice with white rice and once with brown. On all occasions the rice has turned out perfect! I’m thrilled – no more overspill on the hob! Well worth the cost.

Great product – simple to use and sturdy. I did not believe cooking rice with a machine makes such a difference! Works well for Japanese rice as well as Basmati. Great service from YumAsia too – the product arrived quickly and safely.

I’ve had my rice cooker for over 4 years and there are 2 things I feel are worth mentioning:
1) I have never had a single problem with it. In this day and age it’s a little predictable for goods to have had a few niggles by now but I can honestly say this is firing on all cylinders as well as it did the first day I got it.
2) It has MORE than paid for itself! I can understand that as the "entry level" version, £159 can seem a tad steep however do not let that put you off (if, like me, you want a decent rice cooker but are on a bit of a budget. As I say, it’s still works as if it were brand new and the convenience of having a reliable rice cooker will no doubt convince you to spend more time in the kitchen than reaching for the takeaway menu.

This is a really small rice cooker. I knew this when I ordered, but didn’t quite expect it to be as small as it is. I was intially trying to decide between this and the Yum Asia model and kind of wish I bought the other one. Don’t get me wrong, the functions is has work well but it’s just so small.

Happy with my purchase. I should have maybe bought the next size up as it is small but that was my fault for not checking the size guide correctly. It’s such a pleasure to be able to press one button and then without having to do anything else have satisfying rice at the perfect temperature. This is one kitchen gadget that is invaluable if you like rice and its much better than anything else in the market that I’ve tried.

I used to have the large rice cooker but it was too large when I was widowed, so that one went to a very grateful daughter. This one saw me through the terrible early days, I made full meals in it eg rice, frozen fish and vegetables. It is because of this facility that I survived and am well and healthy. It is a fantastic cooker and makes more than enough for one person. I still use it to make full meals and also oatmeal in the mornings, oatmeal, soya milk or normal milk and dried fruits, so I use it twice a day, quite often and at least once a day through winter. It is my absolute must have and worth every penny. The rice cooked in it is gorgeous too
