Really pleased with this! Have already used it to cook sushi rice and used the yum carb function for jasmine rice, which worked well and didn’t alter the taste. Very simple to use and no fuss cleaning.

Great rice cooker and for low carb.
This is great. We had an expensive Korean rice cooker that was excellent but died in 6 months. Them the basic Tefal which was fine but not great. We have only had this for two weeks. We are using the low carb and normal settings and we think it’s great. Just remember to let the water drain when you are filling up
To the line.

Rice cooker is great
This product makes rice cooking so much easier and so easy to clean aswell. It comes with a few extra items for specific jobs ie soup ladel or rice spoon.

Easy to get perfect rice
Easy to use just follow instructions for measures and it just works. Can tweak a little and get sticky rice to suit taste. Can also add spices and get a wicked pilau rice

Quite good
The quality of the rice cooked is way better than the cheap rice cookers that spouts out water and forms a crust at the bottom.
The one thing I dislike about this rice cooker is that there is water collected at the cap that lets steam off, when you open the lid, there may be water dripping from the side.

Absolute Kitchen Essential
Don’t "um and arr" like we did for years, just buy one. An absolute essential for any family that loves rice. It just works to perfection. It’s paid for itself already by us not buying takeaway rice with our weekly family curry.

First cool tonight. Intentionally left the rice on keep warm for an hour to see how fresh and hot the rice would be. Turned out perfect!

Good product with some minor room for improvement
Overall Impression:
I’m very pleased with the rice cooker. I’ve tried several varieties of rice and they all came out great, although I’m careful to avoid easy cook rice. I’ve also used it for steaming vegetables and again was very happy with the results. It’s definitely less fuss and gives more consistent results than mucking about with a saucepan.
Complaints:
I only have very minor complaints, the first of which is due to the lid. The lid’s hinge is on the right hand side and feels like it could easily fall closed with a slight knock so you want to hold it open while getting the rice out. Being right handed this means I’m using my non-dominant hand to get the rice out. Obviously I can just turn the cooker around, but it feels like having the lid lean back further when open and putting the hinge at the back would have made a more user friendly product.
The only other issue I have is trying to steam veg at the same time as making rice. The cooker can’t tell you exactly how long cooking will take because it alters it’s own cooking times based on multiple factors. You only get informed 10 minutes before the end of the cooking cycle. Trying to judge the time to add the veg, mid-way through the cycle has had variable results. I’ll just use the two functions on their own in future.
