All of the products on this EU website are sent from our warehouse in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This means you do not get charged any import or customs fees. Our warehouse is very efficient in the dispatch of your order. This is usually done during our operating hours which are Monday-Friday (except public holidays).
What happens after payment...
When you get your email order confirmation that means that your purchase is now on our warehouse system and will already be getting preparing your item/s for dispatch. Once UPS (or DPD) have collected your order from our warehouse you will then receive an email containing details of how you can track the location of your delivery.

Producing restaurant-quality rice at home is made easy with this small 3-cup (enough to feed 1-3 people) Zojirushi NS-LAQ05 micom fuzzy logic electric rice cooker and warmer. The NS-LAQ05 is a small cooker with an attractive, unique design of a durable clear-coated stainless steel exterior. This cooker is designed to be used on 220-240V, 50Hz power and is supplied with both EU and UK power cord and plugs. This Zojirushi model is made in China.
The NS-LAQ05 has multi-menu selections which uses Micom (micro-computerised) Fuzzy logic technology to control the temperature for the efficient cooking of many different types of rice including white, sushi, porridge and brown rice. There is also a quick cooking feature on this model. The micro computer chip inside the NS-LAQ05 automatically makes adjustments to temperature and heating time – it ensures perfect rice every time. This is what we call the ‘yum factor’
The Zojirushi NS-LAQ05 has an automatic keep-warm function, when the rice is cooked a tune is played and the cooker automatically shifts to keep warm mode. For added convenience, the NS-LAQ05 has a low light LCD display with clock and timer function (for up to 13 hours in advance), a 1.5mm Sumiflon/Teflon coated inner bowl and a convenient detachable inner lid for easy cleaning.
Please note – the LAQ05 is a very small capacity rice cooker and therefore has slightly less functions than the other models. We only recommend the LAQ05 to singles or couples who will not ever cook for anyone other than themselves.

Zojirushi rice cookers have lithium batteries that are used only for retaining timer and cooking memory for if there is a power interruption. The batteries have an estimated lifespan of around 5-10 years depending on use.
These batteries are not essential to the operation of the rice cookers but can be replaced only at authorised Zojirushi service centres if you feel you need to have it replaced. After warranty you would need to contact one of these centres if you wish the battery to be replaced.
We have no plans at all to sell Zojirushi Induction Heating models because the Zojirushi IH models for 220-240V power haven’t passed any CE safety tests for use in the UK or Europe so they therefore cannot be legally supplied within the UK or Europe, so this is why we do not supply them. Not only is there a voltage difference but there is a difference in the frequency of electricity used. The Zojirushi IH models are also very, very expensive to purchase (around £150-200 more than our conventional rice cooker models).
We do have our own branded Induction Heating rice cookers, Fuji YUM-IH07 and Bamboo YUM-IH15/2/B. These are the first IH rice cooker to be made for the UK and Europe. It has many unique rice cooking features which Yum Asia developed using our rice cooker/cooking expertise.

Yes, we supply spare parts for Zojirushi rice cookers for customers who bought their rice cooker from Yum Asia.
These spare parts need to be ordered in advance and can take approximately 8-12 weeks (minimum lead time) to come in stock.

I bought this machine 6months ago and i love it.
The only downside is that they deliver the cooker with a uk electrical socket, it didn´t work in Sweden so i contacted Yumasia and found out that the contact is the same as the normal computer psu contact cable.
So i just pluged it in an it works wonders.
Its easy to clean.
I normally use my ricecooker for Jasmine and Basmati, Like Jasmine the best… always fluffy.
So get this one its a great buy.

After using our Zojirushi NA-LAQ05 extensively for almost two months let me say how happy we are with it. The rice is delicisous but the real treat is the porridge we make with steel cut oats. We are having it for breakfast almost every morning.
The NS-LAQ05 is extremely easy to use and, very important, very easy to clean as well. It doesn’t take much space and is good looking. We knew before we ordered it that it is mainly a device for a 1-2 person household. However, if we would order again we would probably order a larger version, simply because if you have more than 1 guest the rice will probably not be sufficient. Also, the Zojirushi takes his time (45 minutes for white rice) – our old Samsung-Cooker was much quicker and took only half the time, but that is not a big problem.

Hi, I recently bought a NS-LAQ05 rice cooker from you, and I wanted to write and tell you how thrilled I am with it.
Rice has been one of those ingredients I have struggled with over the years, never quite getting the quantities of water and rice correct. As a result of the effort required to make rice, we rarely ate it.
Now with our new Zojirushi we eat rice twice a day. It takes about 20 seconds to setup and we have perfect rice when we want it. I think it was an inspired decision for you to start to import these machines – every household should have one.

Thank you for the excellent service. I received my NS-LAQ05 on Tuesday in a very neatly wrapped parcel.
I have used it 3 times so far, twice for Thai Jasmin and once for Congee and each time the rice came out perfectly cooked. It doesn’t stop there though as I have owned a rice cooker for sometime and the results alone with the Zojirushi are enough to justify the purchase price. I was completely blown away by the fact that it doesn’t produce steam like the old one and doesn’t boil over either. Add to the the convenience of the timer and it really is a no fuss way to cook rice. I can get on with the rest of the meal or just sit and have a glass of wine in the knowledge that the rice will be perfectly cooked at the time I set. No worrying about steaming up the house or boiling over, no stirring or faffing about, just set it, leave it to it and come back when it plays its little tune. Just felt to give some feedback about this, Zojirushi NS-LAQ05, wonderful piece of equipment. I’ve used it now for some time, almost every day, and could not anymore be without one. It makes cooking rice, white, brown and also porridge, so easy and clean while having a tight schedule.
